Hello,
We´d like to see a Russian translation. So I followed the advice and a translation created with poedit is attached.
Hopefully it´s useful. Feel free to include the translation in your AGPL-licensing scheme.
I´m not a programmer. But can I manually add the Russian translation to my installation (coqueliot-0.9.2.debian4?

Hi!
Stock,Dr.Joern:

Thanks! One issue though: one string is still in German (which I guess you used as a template). Could you please translate it in Russian as well?

You can try to do the following, but no guarantees. You will need to be root.
1. Create /usr/share/coquelicot/po/ru 2. Copy your PO file as /usr/share/coquelicot/po/ru/coquelicot.po 3. Edit /usr/lib/ruby/vendor_ruby/coquelicot/base_app.rb and change: AVAILABLE_LOCALES = %w(en es fr de) into: AVAILABLE_LOCALES = %w(en es fr de ru) 4. Restart Coquelicot

[Stock,Dr.Joern] Yes, the string is translated now, too. ] You´re right. We used the German translation as a second reference. I feel this way we more precise assigned a meaning to a string.

[Stock,Dr.Joern ] Many thanks for your step-by-step guide to add the Russian translation to my debian installation. It works !
A few minor improvements are included in the 'ru_translation_ver2', too.
In addition I attached a file with suggestions for the German translation. If you like it feel free to use it in part or completely.
Regards
Jörn

Hello, yes, you´re right. It´s corrected now.
BTW, the string "About your data" seems to be always English, even if I choose Russian or French version in my web Browser.
But the po-file contains a line with "About your data" and there is a translation, too.
And I came across the button language.
The "Partager !"-button switches the language. The Search-button does not. I attached a screenshot with indications.
Maybe the reason is my coquelicot version 0.9.2-4 obtained from debian packet sources.
Best Regards
Jörn

Cool! But there's still a string in German, line 89. Could you make sure to translate it as well?
Thanks!
Glad to know the instructions worked in any cases.
